Registrations for the Fall 2024 Soccer season will open May 1, 2024 ($65/player 3 1/2 to 18 1/2).
For those with players turning 12 prior to the end of the year and those older, there is a wait list, but start their registration anyway. The wait list is to 1: see how many players we will have, and 2: how many teams the Phoenix regions pull together for us to play. Once this is determined, we will then unlock the wait list for you to complete their registrations.
We plan on starting practices week of August 26, 2024 providing we are able to get enough coaches to start on time, and will go to October 19, 2023 (14u-16/19u continue playing through November). All games/practices are held at Sunset Park with the exception of our 14u and older teams who may need to travel for games. The Town of Wickenburg has decided again this year to do the reseeding of the fields after our season is over. So, we will go straight through again this year. In order to provide a fun, learning program, we do need volunteers in the positions of coaches, assistant coaches, concession stand helpers, and Board members. This season, we are finding ourselves extremely short on referees as is the case in all Regions. Without referees, we cannot have games for those players in the 10U-19U programs. This is a great opportunity for any high school student needing Community Service hours.
For ALL volunteers: Yes, we need you to run this program. We need Board Members, coaches, referees, field set up, etc. All of these positions have free certifications (all online with the exception of some of the higher coaching/refereeing courses). Certifications include: Safe Haven, Concussion Awareness, certification in the area you want to volunteer, and new this year is Mandatory Reporting through Safe Sport. Again, all volunteers need to do this. If you can get registered early, that gives us all summer to complete the courses prior to stepping on the fields.
